Tom and I woke up to a beautiful coastal morning in Monterey and we walked down to the aquarium! The Monterey Bay Aquarium is well known for their exceptionally large tanks, one contains a kelp forest and another is three stories tall and is home to sharks, tuna (which dispite the tiny cans they come in are actually huge) and a massive school of anchovies (which individually are quite small, but all swimming together are quite spectacular!)

And we ended our day with an awesome visit with Jim and Louise who were gracious enough to have is over for a very yummy dinner and great company! Thank you guys!!

Tom and I got married 12 years ago today, and we celebrated by going on an adventure. I don’t know how I got so lucky, but I am so thankful that I get to spend everyday laughing, adventuring and hanging out with my favorite person in the whole universe, it’s a pretty good deal! Thank you Tom for being the best thing that ever happened to me, you are wonderful and I love you more than everything.

Tom and I set off this morning into San Francisco! We started at one of my favorite places in the city, the Conservitory of Flowers!

Our second stop of the day was the Asian art museum where we were pleased to find ancient tupperwear as well as reference to Dr. Who and Gargamel and a very interesting trend…

Aparently ancient Asian cultures had a real flatulence problem!

But dispite that most of them seemed pretty happy!

But not all of them.

But not all of them.
